Monitor your device's battery status in detail in real time
About this app
Battery Monitor is a simple, practical Android app for keeping an eye on your device’s battery.
It gives you clear battery information at a glance, shows useful notifications, supports configurable battery alarms, and lets you review battery history over time.
Main features:
- persistent notification with current battery level, status, and optional details - on Android 16 and newer, the main notification can be replaced with a Live Update showing the current battery level or temperature, - detailed battery information, including charge level, temperature, voltage, health, and power source - advanced battery information thanks to root access or Shizuku - configurable battery alarms: for full charge, low battery, or custom charge thresholds; temperature and battery health - battery event history with filtering - CSV history export for further analysis - home screen widgets - no personal data collection
Battery status notification
Battery Monitor can show a persistent notification with up-to-date battery information. You can choose what is displayed, such as battery percentage, charging status, or additional details.
Battery alarms
Set practical alerts to help you manage charging and discharging. Battery Monitor can notify you when the battery reaches a selected level, drops below a chosen threshold, or becomes fully charged.
History and export
The app records battery-related events so you can review how your battery status changed over time. Logs can be filtered and exported to CSV for further analysis.
Widgets
Home screen widgets let you keep important battery information visible without opening the app.
Privacy
Battery Monitor does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. It focuses only on local battery monitoring on your device.
Project background
Battery Monitor is a continued and rebranded version of Battery Indicator Pro / BatteryBot Pro. The project aims to preserve a classic, clear battery monitoring experience while keeping the app working well on modern Android versions.

How to install this safely
How to verify the file you downloaded
Before you install anything, confirm the file is the one described here. On a computer, run shasum -a 256 your-download.apk (macOS or Linux) or certutil -hashfile your-download.apk SHA256 (Windows), then compare the output character-for-character with the SHA-256 on this page. If a single character differs, the file is not the build we recorded — delete it.
What the signing certificate proves
Every Android app is signed with a private key that only its developer holds. The fingerprint on this page is a hash of the matching public certificate, and it proves continuity rather than identity: it tells you a build came from whoever signed the earlier ones. Android enforces this at install time — if a package claiming to be codes.swistak.batterymonitor is signed with a different key, the system will refuse to install it over your existing copy. A fingerprint that changes between releases is worth pausing on, because a repackaged app that has been modified by someone else cannot keep the original signature.
How to roll back to an earlier version
If the current release misbehaves, 1.1.0 is the last build before it. Android will not install an older version code over a newer one, so you must uninstall Battery Monitor first — which clears its local data unless you have a backup. Reinstall the older APK only if its signing fingerprint matches the build you already trust, and check the API range: an older release may target an Android version your device has moved past.
Why we list sources instead of hosting everything
The official store channel is almost always the right choice: it updates automatically and carries the publisher's own distribution guarantees. A direct APK is useful when a device has no store access, when a rollout has not reached your region, or when you need a specific version — and only when the publisher has authorized that copy. APKBrowse does not list pirated, cracked, or unauthorized rebuilds of Battery Monitor, and a listing is removed when the evidence for it stops holding up.
