About this app
Ironhold Tactics is a turn-based strategy game about attacking and defending fortified positions. Each of its forty maps is hand-designed around a specific problem — a wall that cannot be breached head-on, a supply line that has to be held for six turns, a garrison that outnumbers you two to one — and the campaign expects you to lose some of them the first time. There is no fog-of-war randomness masking the AI's decisions: enemy intent is legible, and the difficulty comes from the position rather than from hidden dice.
It is aimed at people who want a strategy game with a finite, authored campaign rather than an endless live-service one. Everything is included in one purchase: no unit packs, no premium currency, no season. Skirmish mode against the AI and pass-and-play on a single device are both offline. There is no online multiplayer at all, which Anvilrun says is because a turn-based siege takes two hours and asynchronous online play for that length is a support burden the studio cannot carry honestly.
Anvilrun's position is that a player who has paid should be able to keep the artifact, so it authorizes APKBrowse to host the stable APK directly for buyers whose devices have no Google services. That download resolves through a short-lived signed URL with resumable byte ranges. The Play and Amazon listings carry the same signed build.
