Lumen Cascade is a puzzle game about bending a single beam of light through a grid of mirrors, prisms, and filters until it reaches every receiver on the board. The levels are hand-built rather than generated, which is why there are three hundred of them instead of an endless supply: each one is built around a specific idea, and the difficulty curve is deliberate rather than tuned by a retention model. There are no timers, no move limits, and no lives, so you can leave a board unsolved for a week and the game will not nudge you about it. A hint system exists and gives you the next single move rather than the whole solution.

It is aimed at people who want a puzzle game they can actually finish, and particularly at anyone who has been driven off by titles that gate progress behind an energy meter. There is no advertising, no in-app purchase, and no account — the entire game is in the download. If you want leaderboards, daily events, or anything social, Lumen Cascade has none of that and Brightloop has said publicly that it never will. The tablet layout gives the board more room and adds a two-finger rotation gesture that is genuinely easier to use than the phone equivalent.
