About this app
Lumen Cascade is a puzzle game about bending a single beam of light through a grid of mirrors, prisms, and filters until it reaches every receiver on the board. The levels are hand-built rather than generated, which is why there are three hundred of them instead of an endless supply: each one is built around a specific idea, and the difficulty curve is deliberate rather than tuned by a retention model. There are no timers, no move limits, and no lives, so you can leave a board unsolved for a week and the game will not nudge you about it. A hint system exists and gives you the next single move rather than the whole solution.
It is aimed at people who want a puzzle game they can actually finish, and particularly at anyone who has been driven off by titles that gate progress behind an energy meter. There is no advertising, no in-app purchase, and no account — the entire game is in the download. If you want leaderboards, daily events, or anything social, Lumen Cascade has none of that and Brightloop has said publicly that it never will. The tablet layout gives the board more room and adds a two-finger rotation gesture that is genuinely easier to use than the phone equivalent.
Brightloop publishes to Google Play and the Samsung Galaxy Store and posts the SHA-256 of each build to its public changelog on release day. There is no publisher-hosted APK for this title, so APKBrowse serves no direct download; the community mirror linked below is a page reference we never proxy and cannot vouch for. The studio asks that any direct Lumen Cascade APK be treated as unverified unless its signing fingerprint matches the one shown on this page.
Before installing, two things are worth knowing. Version 3.4.0 requires Android 8.0 or newer and ships arm64-v8a and armeabi-v7a binaries, so nearly any device from the last several years will run it; the download is a little over 200 MB because the level art is bundled rather than fetched on first launch, which is the price of the game working with no network at all. The permission list is a single entry — vibration — and that is not a marketing claim you have to accept on faith, since you can read the manifest yourself. Second, save data lives in the app's private storage and is not backed up anywhere, so uninstalling loses your progress. Rolling back to 3.2.0 installs cleanly because the signing key is unchanged, but 3.2.0 predates the sixty-level pack in the current build and simply will not show those boards.

Lumen Cascade questions, answered
Is it safe to install Lumen Cascade from an APK?
Brightloop does not authorize a direct APK for this game, so any file you find outside Google Play or the Galaxy Store is unofficial. APKBrowse serves no direct download here for exactly that reason, and the studio asks that unmatched fingerprints be treated as a red flag rather than a packaging quirk.
How do I verify the download is genuine?
Compare the SHA-256 of the file against the hash listed for that version here, which is the same value Brightloop posts to its public changelog on release day. The signing fingerprint has been identical across every Brightloop release, so a build signed by anyone else did not come from the studio.
Will Lumen Cascade work on my Android version?
Version 3.4.0 needs Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer and includes arm64-v8a and armeabi-v7a binaries, which covers essentially every phone and tablet still receiving updates. Devices on Android 7.x can run 3.2.0, which lowered the requirement to API 24 but no longer receives fixes.
Does the game need an internet connection or an account?
Neither. The app declares no internet permission at all, which means there is no account to create, no telemetry to opt out of, and no way for the game to phone home even if it wanted to — the trade is that the install is around 200 MB because all the art ships with it.
How do I roll back to an earlier version?
Uninstall 3.4.0 and install 3.2.0; the signing key is the same, so nothing blocks the install. Your progress will not survive the uninstall, because saves live in private app storage and are not backed up to any cloud.

How to install this safely
How to verify the file you downloaded
Before you install anything, confirm the file is the one described here. On a computer, run shasum -a 256 your-download.apk (macOS or Linux) or certutil -hashfile your-download.apk SHA256 (Windows), then compare the output character-for-character with the SHA-256 on this page. If a single character differs, the file is not the build we recorded — delete it.
What the signing certificate proves
Every Android app is signed with a private key that only its developer holds. The fingerprint on this page is a hash of the matching public certificate, and it proves continuity rather than identity: it tells you a build came from whoever signed the earlier ones. Android enforces this at install time — if a package claiming to be com.brightloop.lumencascade is signed with a different key, the system will refuse to install it over your existing copy. A fingerprint that changes between releases is worth pausing on, because a repackaged app that has been modified by someone else cannot keep the original signature.
How to roll back to an earlier version
If the current release misbehaves, 3.2.0 is the last build before it. Android will not install an older version code over a newer one, so you must uninstall Lumen Cascade first — which clears its local data unless you have a backup. Reinstall the older APK only if its signing fingerprint matches the build you already trust, and check the API range: an older release may target an Android version your device has moved past.
Why we list sources instead of hosting everything
The official store channel is almost always the right choice: it updates automatically and carries the publisher's own distribution guarantees. A direct APK is useful when a device has no store access, when a rollout has not reached your region, or when you need a specific version — and only when the publisher has authorized that copy. APKBrowse does not list pirated, cracked, or unauthorized rebuilds of Lumen Cascade, and a listing is removed when the evidence for it stops holding up.
