Your files, your rules. Automatically sort and move media with smart rules.
About this app
FilePipe turns your chaotic storage into a perfectly organized library โ automatically. ๐
Ever wanted all your videos in one folder, regardless of which app downloaded them? Or wished your Downloads folder would just sort itself into Documents, Music, Images, and everything else?
That's exactly what FilePipe does. Set a rule, pick a schedule, and let the pipes do the work. Move or copy any media to its rightful place.
โโ ๐ RULES โโ Use templates to start fast, or build your own. Create a rule by choosing source folders, file extensions, and a destination. Each rule can move or copy files, and you control what happens when a filename collision occurs โ skip, overwrite, or rename automatically. Rules can scan subfolders recursively and each one gets its own schedule.
โโ ๐๏ธ ADVANCED FILTERS โโ Not every file in a folder should match. Narrow things down with: โข Filename patterns (wildcards) โข Minimum and maximum file size โข Minimum and maximum file age โข Exclude patterns
All optional, all collapsed by default so simple rules stay simple.
โโ ๐๏ธ PREVIEW BEFORE YOU RUN โโ Not sure a rule will pick up the right files? Preview it first. FilePipe shows exactly which files would be moved โ without touching anything on disk.
โโ โฐ FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES โโ Run rules on demand, or schedule them to run: โข Every few hours โข Daily at a specific time โข Weekly on a specific day and time
โโ ๐ HISTORY โโ Every run is logged with a full per-file breakdown โ moved, skipped, or failed. You can: โข Filter by outcome (including runs that matched nothing) โข Sort by date or rule name โข Switch between date view, rule view, or status view โข Tap a moved file to open it directly โข Undo a run to restore files when possible
โโ โก APP SHORTCUTS โโ Long-press the app icon to run any of your top four enabled rules immediately, without opening the app.
โโ ๐ NOTIFICATIONS โโ Scheduled runs post a summary notification showing the files that were moved. Tap Undo directly from the notification to reverse the last batch.
โโ ๐พ BACKUP AND RESTORE โโ Export all your rules to a JSON file and import them back at any time. Auto-export on rule change and scheduled exports are available in Settings.
โโ ๐จ LOOK AND FEEL โโ โข Light, dark, black (OLED), or system-default theme โข Material You (wallpaper colors on Android 12+) โข 9 fixed accent presets and option to set your own color โข 9 palette algorithms: Tonal Spot, Vibrant, Expressive, Rainbow, Monochrome, and more โข Optional gradient background โข Optional progressive blur behind the nav bar (Android 12+)
โโ ๐ก๏ธ PRIVACY โโ Works entirely on-device. No accounts, no cloud sync, no data collection. You control how folders are accessed - either one at a time or grant once & access everything.

How to install this safely
How to verify the file you downloaded
Before you install anything, confirm the file is the one described here. On a computer, run shasum -a 256 your-download.apk (macOS or Linux) or certutil -hashfile your-download.apk SHA256 (Windows), then compare the output character-for-character with the SHA-256 on this page. If a single character differs, the file is not the build we recorded โ delete it.
What the signing certificate proves
Every Android app is signed with a private key that only its developer holds. The fingerprint on this page is a hash of the matching public certificate, and it proves continuity rather than identity: it tells you a build came from whoever signed the earlier ones. Android enforces this at install time โ if a package claiming to be dev.bikram.filepipe.gh is signed with a different key, the system will refuse to install it over your existing copy. A fingerprint that changes between releases is worth pausing on, because a repackaged app that has been modified by someone else cannot keep the original signature.
How to roll back to an earlier version
If the current release misbehaves, 3.9.0 is the last build before it. Android will not install an older version code over a newer one, so you must uninstall FilePipe: Auto media organizer first โ which clears its local data unless you have a backup. Reinstall the older APK only if its signing fingerprint matches the build you already trust, and check the API range: an older release may target an Android version your device has moved past.
Why we list sources instead of hosting everything
The official store channel is almost always the right choice: it updates automatically and carries the publisher's own distribution guarantees. A direct APK is useful when a device has no store access, when a rollout has not reached your region, or when you need a specific version โ and only when the publisher has authorized that copy. APKBrowse does not list pirated, cracked, or unauthorized rebuilds of FilePipe: Auto media organizer, and a listing is removed when the evidence for it stops holding up.
