Marquee Nights answers one question: what is on near me this week that I would actually go to. It pulls listings for cinemas, small venues, and one-off events, filters them against what you have told it you care about, and caches the full week on the device so that a basement venue with no signal still shows you the running order. Reminders fire from the phone rather than a server, and the app will tell you when a single-showing event is close to selling out — the one notification most people keep switched on.

What the signing certificate proves
Every Android app is signed with a private key that only its developer holds. The fingerprint on this page is a hash of the matching public certificate, and it proves continuity rather than identity: it tells you a build came from whoever signed the earlier ones. Android enforces this at install time — if a package claiming to be com.halcyonworks.marquee is signed with a different key, the system will refuse to install it over your existing copy.
